This young girl aged 12years, is said to have been made pregnant by a local council Councillor in Ntungamo District. This happened during Covid-19 Pandemic / closure of schools.
There are several other teenage girls in Uganda that have become single mothers during this Covid-19 pandemic; these lack support both morally and financially. Babies lack basic needs (Clothes, medical care, Nutritional foods etc.). Most of these single teenage mothers will not go back to school.
